Persido Overlook Gum Trees
Looking west towards one of the Baker Beach overlook parking lots, in the Persidio, San Francisco. One of about twenty five Lunchtime paintings that I’ve made since the beginning of the year. My plan was to paint about two or three every week on my work lunch break. Hopefully I can get back into the office by summer. Until then, time to start painting the sites closer to home.

Under the Picnic Table Oak Tree
Looking west over Alexander Valley. This is a plein air painting I made in the family vineyards. We were experiencing a heat wave that day and I started melting after three hours in the sun, so I painted what I could then turned tail and retreated to a swimming pool. A few days later I cleaned it up in the home studio.

Made this lake doodle to test ArtRage on my new iMac. So much faster and responsive that my old powerbook. Very happy with the graphic improvements. Can’t wait to try it out on something more substantial.
Dick and Don find the old miner’s campsite. Will they be able to get their gold nugget back or will it be too late?
Our heros climb and give chase to the old miner who stole their gold. Adventuring is a tough buisness.
