Went to the Degas show at the Legion of Honor this morning. Impressionist paintings and French millinery, this show was made just for me. Loved it. Sat down with the kids and drew ladies in hats for a few hours.

Upside down mirror world
While visiting the Exploratorium with my boys and we stumbled upon the most amazing giant concave mirror. I felt like Link being drawn into the mirror world in Zelda: a Link to the Past. Very trippy.

Took the kids to the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive and randomly stubbled into the Fisher Family Art Lab. Community drawing party awesomeness! Very cool. Always prepared I pulled out our sketchbooks and went at it. The highlight was the giant box of crazy stamp pads. The boys loved that.

Halloween costumes 2016
Halloween has come and gone. The boys decided we all go as scary things this year so I was a zombie with a harpoon through his heart and they were the Grim reaper, a Red Devin and a Skeleton. Lot of fun.
It rained pretty good this year so I set up a bunch of blacklights and set about drawing all over myself with highlighters.
