I walk across this little bridge all the time to paint. It looked nice as the sun was going down so i decided to stop and just paint it this time.

On my lunch break I walked across the street from my apartment to paint the view looking west.

It was windy when I went out to paint on the salt marsh at lunch . I had my easel weighed down but occasionally had to hold the canvas for fear of it blowing away.

I set up in my brothers driveway for a quick painting and as I was finishing up, to my surprise, it started to rain.

Quick oil sketch this afternoon of the marsh across the street.

Quick morning sketch with a little bit of clean up at home. Looking west from the vineyard shop.

On the hill behinds mom’s looking east. It was a burn day and smoke from the neighbors left a thin veil over the valley

Looking south across lake Elizabeth towards the spillway. The cows were about and their calves came over to watch me paint. This was all fun and good but I was a little nervous when the bull strolled up and lingered just behind me.

Looking south from the hill above the solar farm on a burn day. Very bright late morning with lots of smoke haze from the neighbors clearing brush.

Looking west towards my uncle Fred’s house from the junkyard overlook after sunset.
