I had a wonderful New Years Eve in San Francisco. Spent my evening doodling in my sketchbook with close friends. We waxed philosophically, shared projects, ideas, art, news of babies and growing families. Everyone had amazing projects and stories to share and from the preview I got last night 2012 is going to be jaw dropping year for art and technology. It is incredibly inspiring and intimidating to be surrounded by such brilliant minds. My brain hurts.
So considering the quality of the competition I guess my new years resolution this year is simply to try and keep up. I’m going to have to board a feature, write a book or both before the year is through just to hold a candle to some of the work I saw last night. Looks like its time to roll up my sleeves and go back to the drawing board. 2012. Game on!
